These Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms") apply to your access and use of our website at eventlite.com, managed by Qin Bay Limited, a Kenyan company registered under Kenyan law.   • Eligibility to List: To list an event, you must have all necessary rights, licenses, and permits. By listing an event, you confirm compliance with these requirements.
  • Event Content: You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you post. By posting content, you grant EventLite a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it in connection with our services.
  • Approval and Removal: EventLite reserves the right to review, approve, reject, or remove any event listing at its sole discretion.

6. Promotions and Discounts

Event organizers may offer promotions or discounts, which must comply with EventLite's guidelines and applicable laws. Violations may result in removal or suspension.

7. Ticket Purchase Availability

Tickets are subject to availability. EventLite does not guarantee availability for any particular event.

  • Payment: You must provide accurate payment details. EventLite reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders for reasons such as pricing errors or suspected fraud.
  • Delivery: Tickets are delivered electronically via email or SMS. Ensure your contact details are accurate.
  • Refunds and Cancellations: If an event is canceled, refunds will be issued subject to a processing fee. Refund requests must be made within 7 business days of official notification.

8. Event Postponement and Cancellation Policy

This policy governs ticket refunds for events organized in collaboration with EventLite. By purchasing a ticket, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions. These terms are legally binding and constitute the entire agreement between the ticket holder and EventLite.

8.1. Event Postponement

In case of an event postponement, all purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled event. Refund requests for postponed events must be submitted within seven (7) working days from the official postponement announcement. Any requests beyond this period will be deemed invalid, and EventLite shall have no obligation to process such claims.

Refunds for postponed events are subject to:

  • Consultation and approval by the event organizer and EventLite.
  • A deduction of applicable transaction fees.
  • Processing time of up to 30 working days, depending on the mode of payment and advice from the event organizer. EventLite shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party payment processors.

EventLite will make reasonable efforts to communicate postponements through:

  • Direct communication channels, such as the email address and mobile number provided during ticket purchase, via SMS or chat applications.
  • Official announcements on EventLite's social media platforms.

EventLite shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from the postponement of an event, including but not limited to travel expenses, accommodation, or other associated costs.

8.2. Event Cancellation

In the event of a cancellation, refunds will only be processed upon consultation with the event organizer. If the event organizer has already utilized ticket funds for event preparations, EventLite will await the organizer to refund the ticketing account. Ticket holders will then be informed of the refund timeline, subject to the organizer's ability to replenish the refund accounts.

Refunds will strictly be issued:

  • To the original payment method used for the ticket purchase.
  • For group tickets, refunds will only be made to the purchaser's original payment method, whether a card or mobile money number.

EventLite will make reasonable efforts to communicate cancellations through:

  • Direct communication channels, such as the email address and mobile number provided during ticket purchase, via SMS or chat applications.
  • Official announcements on EventLite's social media platforms.

Refund requests must be submitted within seven (7) working days of the official cancellation announcement. Requests beyond this period will not be processed, and EventLite shall have no liability or obligation to process such claims.

EventLite shall not be held liable for any delays, disputes, or failures in refunds resulting from the organizer's inability to provide refund funds within the expected timeframe.

9. General Terms

  • Force Majeure: EventLite is not liable for cancellations or postponements due to unforeseen events (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions).
  • Transaction Fees: Refunds are subject to transaction fees.
  • Refund Timelines: Refunds may take up to 30 working days, depending on payment methods and financial institutions.
  • Ticket Holder Obligations: Users must provide accurate contact details. EventLite is not liable for failure to receive notifications due to incorrect details.

10. Contests, Sweepstakes, and Promotions

EventLite may offer promotions, contests, or sweepstakes. Participation is subject to specific terms and conditions provided for each promotion.

11. User Conduct

Users must adhere to respectful and lawful conduct. Prohibited activities include fraud, intellectual property violations, and unauthorized website access. Violations may result in account termination.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the EventLite website, including design, text, graphics, and logos, is the exclusive property of EventLite Limited or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is strictly prohibited.

13. Privacy and Data Protection
